Job description

Key responsibilities for this position include:
<LI>Provide first line system support to the customers for radio network products through CSR handling, On- site support, On-call support and Emergency Handling.
<LI>Provides technical support/ consultation for project related activities occasionally in matters that require experience and/or comprehensive knowledge.
<LI>Testing, Verification and Deployment of software packages in the customer network.
<LI>Verification, testing and implementation of new features/solutions
<LI>Sharing of knowledge to the team members.

Competence
<LI>University degree in Telecom, Electronics or in Electrical eng.
<LI>Good theoretical & practical knowledge of WCDMA and GSM protocols & nodes
<LI>Good experience and Knowledge of BSS nodes like BSC, APG40, APZ212 40 is essential
<LI>Good Knowledge of WRAN nodes like RNC, RXI and NodeB is essential.
<LI>Working knowledge of CPP platform, ATM & TCP/IP protocols is essential.
<LI>Knowledge of RAN tools like CCR, Moshell, Target Monitor etc. is of advantage.
<LI>Knowledge of AXE test system, PLEX and ASA, UNIX will be of advantage.
<LI>Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and trouble shooting experience.
<LI>Knowledge of Ericsson operation, customer support responsibilities, tasks and tools (SMS, KCS etc)
<LI>Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment, including handling real-time emergencies with customers in distress. Willingness to work hours as the job requires.
<LI>Ability to perform multi-task effectively.
<LI>Good team working skills.
<LI>Good written and verbal English communication skills.
