United Bank Limited - E-Coordinator

Responsible for Technical support of Information Technology / Information Systems in Banking and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity within the Region / Hub / Spokes. Overall in-charge of e-banking networks at Hub and Spokes and responsible to provide e-banking technical help desk support at each branch.
Moreover, I am responsible for the following work area.
 Banking Operational Support related to Banking Software & its Maintenance.
 WAN and LAN Networking Management.
 Provide DBA and System Administrator Support.
 Install Linux on Server type Machines and Configure Database.
 PTCL / NTSC connectivity services.
 Provide technical support for ATM resolve technical issues and also provide support in their daily balancing.
 Power Management Support.
 Provide Technical support for e-banking applications like Unisign/UniRemote/UBOnline etc.
 Coordinating with vendors for hardware support.
 Coordinating with SRM/RMs regarding Advances related queries and assessing branches for opening of account, feeding of limits and rates.
 Coordinating with Internal and External Auditors.
 Run Six monthly/Yearly day end and involve in printing of Statement of Accounts for all branches pertaining to our area.
 Run Monthly Fixed Assets system and provide technical support.
 Creation of basic shells for ease of branches in DOS and Linux.
 Provide technical support for SBP program which is Fox-Pro based.
 Coordinating with HO, RHQ and IT operations for implementation of new circulars.
 Assuring security policy implementation including the physical security of IT and Telecom hardware and information through access control.
 Maintenance of onsite and offsite backup of the central branch and its spokes.
 Create conductive e-Banking environment.
 Provide training to staff.


When I joined UBL only 2 branches of my area are computerized now I am responsible for IT Operations and Telecom for 21 branches of my area.

Special Assignments

• Grounding of branches before computerization.
• Conversion of an Offline branch into an online branch including installation and configuration of Online banking application.
• Installation and configuration of ATM Software on Server End.
• During Renovation and shifting of branches coordination with contractor and IT for smooth IT and banking operations.
• Computerization of different system e.g Locker, DD/PO, RTC, MEND,PAND, EOBI and Cash Receipts.
• Working with IT during merger and shifting of branches.
